Our team is called Aledo Lady Cats Lacrosse.

Girls Lacrosse

Ladycats Lacrosse hosts “Try Lacrosse” clinics year-round, giving girls who are new to the sport a chance to experience the game in a fun, safe, and supportive environment while also getting a feel for our coaching style. These clinics are a great way for prospective players to “try before they buy,” and for those already registered for the spring season to build confidence and get comfortable before training begins.

Not at all! We welcome beginners and encourage every young lady to come out and give the sport a try.

The Aledo Ladycats Girls Lacrosse program is primarily organized to serve athletes who reside within the Aledo Independent School District boundaries. In addition, the program welcomes participation from girls in surrounding communities where access to youth lacrosse opportunities may be limited. Players outside the surrounding areas (Hudson Oaks, Weatherford, Azle, Springtown, Granberry and Benbrook) will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Executive Board.

Mandatory equipment includes: a girl's lacrosse stick, eye protection, and a mouthguard. Cleats are highly recommended.

We believe in encouraging participation and growth without requiring perfection. Players will gain confidence and improve the more time they invest in learning and practicing the game of lacrosse, which ultimately enhances their overall experience. At the K–4th grade level, scheduling conflicts will not affect playing time. Beginning in 5th grade and above, athletes will continue to have opportunities to participate; however, frequent conflicts may have an impact on playing time.

The goal is to provide financial support on a case-by-case basis in the future after the program is more developed.

For sponsorship inquiries, and all other areas of support (coaching, operations, partnerships, etc.) reach out to us at Aledoladycatslacrosse@gmail.com

LCL will continue to add a grade level every year until we offer a full K-12 program for Aledo ISD girls. The target date for our first high school team is 2029 with a Junior Varsity. Our goal is to offer a full K-12th Grade offering (including a Varsity and JV) no later than 2030.
