Pre-K / Kindergarten

Fall 2026 Registration Opens 14 Jun 26

The Fall 2026 season is designed to introduce new players to the game while continuing the development of returning athletes. This six-week season taking off holiday weekends is focused on skill development, game experience, and building confidence in a fun, positive, and competitive environment.

The season begins on August 16, 2026, and concludes October 4, 2026 with a playday in Aledo.

Practices:  Pre-K / Kinder practices will be held on Sundays for one hour each week. Expect to see training that is structured, but fast-paced and fun. We teach the sport by breaking the girls into small groups and rotating them to various stations that each teach a game-specific skill (ground balls, catching, throwing, dodging, shooting, defense, etc.).

Games & Competition: Games will be held in Aledo on 1-2 playdays.

Fees: $130 Pre-K/Kinder dues for the Fall 2026 season are for ~6 practices and ~4 games 1-2 playdays. Uniforms (reversible jersey and game shorts) are purchased separately.

As a new community-based program, we are committed to making lacrosse accessible to every family. If cost is a concern, please contact us to discuss available options.

Player uniforms will be purchased separately and will be used for future seasons whenever possible.

Required Equipment: Equipment: Mandatory equipment once practice begins includes a girl's stick, a mouthguard and eye protection. Cleats are not required but recommended. Please see our new player equipment recommendations.

A limited number of loaner sticks may be available for new players.

Communication: Playmetrics is our main method of communication (this is the same application through which registration occurs). Once the season starts, this app allows you to see the team roster, team schedule and has a message feature for quick updates. Please be sure to download this app to your mobile device and to RSVP your player’.

Join the Founding Season

The Fall 2026 season is an exciting step toward the growth of girls lacrosse in Aledo. Girls get to choose their number (based on graduation year) and keep it as long as they are in the program. As the first girls youth lacrosse program serving Aledo and the surrounding communities, we're building something special—and we'd love for your family to be part of it.

All skill levels welcome. No prior lacrosse experience required.

Spring 2027 Registration Opens 01 Sep 26

Spring is the primary season for lacrosse. It runs for 9 weeks and is designed to be a player's main spring sport (but we are also flexible with conflicts at this age). Must be 4 years old no later than the start of the current school year.

Practices: Pre-K / Kinder’s train one hour per week. Expect to see training that is structured, but fast-paced and fun. We teach the sport by breaking the girls into small groups and rotating them to various stations that each teach a game-specific skill (ground balls, catching, throwing, dodging, shooting, defense, etc).

Games: Since Pre-K / Kinder is an entry point to the sport of lacrosse, our emphasis at this age will be on fundamentals, where training is the priority. We play games too! Our Pre-k / Kinder group is a "house league" so they will play games against each other during their training period.

Fees: Pre-K / Kinder’s dues for the Spring season are or ~6 training sessions and ~3 "house" games. Player uniform (reversible jersey) is purchased separately.

The largest driver in our dues are field space. Additional costs covered by dues: officiating fees, tournament dues, operating equipment (goals, balls, etc.). That being said, we are committed to growing the game and do not want finances to be the limiting factor. We offer sibling discounts, as well as payment plan options at registration. Please reach out to us if additional financial assistance is needed.

Equipment: Mandatory equipment once practice begins includes a girl's stick, a mouthguard and eye protection. Cleats are not required but recommended. Please see our new player equipment recommendations.

Format: Pre-K / Kinder’s will play 4v4 (no goalie) with 3x3 goals on a reduced size field (60-70 yds x 35-45 yds), playing 12-minute running halves. We will train as a group and divide up into multiple, evenly balanced teams and play each other games.

Communication: Playmetrics is our main method of communication (this is the same application through which registration occurs). Once the season starts, this app allows you to see the team roster, team schedule and has a message feature for quick updates. Please be sure to download this app to your mobile device and to RSVP your player’s availability for each training/game. It’s critical information that allows coaches to plan accordingly.
